The Doug Bragg enterprises BMM-5 median mower is a combination of two mid
mount five foot side mowers mounted on left and right sides of ninety horse
power tractor unit and two five foot heads with one four foot head mounted
under a tow frame with a total cut path of twenty-one foot six inches.
All heads are independently raised and lowered using panel mounted controls
in the operators compartment
The mowers are hydraulically powered by a tandem crank shaft mounted front
pump and a tow frame mounted tandem and single pumps. All functions are electric
over hydraulic with lift, lower and float settings.
This unit also has a front mounted hydraulic driven grass whip on a boom arm
that will reach approximately twenty feet to the left of the tractor and twenty
four feet to the right of the tractor for trimming around guard rails and
sign posts etc.
The grass whip and boom are controlled by electronic joystick with proportional
valves for smooth operation.
